What we collect and why

Quote and contact forms. We collect your company type, company name, the registered office details we retrieve from Companies House for limited companies, the training you need, the training location postcode, your name, email address and phone number, and anything you add in the message box. We use this to prepare a quotation, respond to your enquiry and, if you book, to deliver and invoice the training. The legal basis is that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Form submissions are delivered to us by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which processes the data on our behalf.

Companies House lookup. If you choose "Limited company", the name you type is sent to our own server, which queries the Companies House public register and returns matching companies. We do not store the search; we keep only the company you select, as part of your enquiry.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google sets cookies and processes usage data, including a truncated IP address. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.

Push notifications. If you accept the browser prompt, Subscribers.com registers your browser to receive notifications from us. You can withdraw at any time in your browser's notification settings.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard request logs for security and performance.

Sharing

We share enquiry data only with the processors named above and, for account customers, with our accounting software and credit-reference provider for the purpose of opening a credit account. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. Training and certificate records are kept for as long as the certificate may need to be verified, normally at least five years, because employers and insurers ask us to confirm them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing or ask us to restrict it. Email enquiries@forkliftagency.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site sets cookies for Google Analytics and, if you opt in, for push notifications. There are no advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the quote form will still work.
