Semi-Experienced Forklift Training in Derby
For operators who have driven informally but never been formally trained and certificated. Usually two days.
Many warehouses have staff who have been "shown how" to drive a forklift by a colleague but hold no certificate. Legally they are untrained, and insurers increasingly ask for proof of formal training. The semi-experienced course recognises their existing skill and shortens the practical element, while still covering the full theory and test.
Our instructor assesses each candidate on day one. If someone turns out to need the full novice course, we tell you straight away rather than pushing them through a test they are likely to fail.
The certificate issued is the same basic operator certificate as the novice course.
